The Grifters at Merlin's

Not your average cover band, The Grifters play a mix of classic rock, country, blues and current hits. We are currently playing a lot in the Downtown, Buffalo area. Check out our Events Calendar for an up to date list of our gigs.

The Grifters are:

Carl - Lead Guitar, Vocals, Blistering Solos
Mark - Rhythm Guitar, Vocals
Dave - Bass
Rick - Drums, Cocktail Drums, Vocals

Along with the regulars, there is a whole crew of people that join us on stage from time to time. We have even had the occasional Elvis sighting. Take a look at our picture gallery to see who has sat in with us.

We've been playing at Merlin's at 727 Elmwood Ave for a few weeks now. It's a great time at a bar with a patio on Elmwood.

Expect to see Charlie Reed, Glenn and others playing with us!

Changes

You are witnesses at the new birth of The Grifters Mach II. I hope you enjoy our new direction... On the bass David Kraft! He wrote this!

Part of the changes involve the addition of Mike doing vocals and some percussion. Rick will also be doing more vocals and backing Mike up, often leaving the drum throne to Ron and Greg. With 3 percussionists we'll be adding congas and bongos. Our play list also has been totally overhauled, read that as we actually have one now.

If you want to check us out we'll be practicing at the Tudor Monday 12/11 at about 6:30 PM.
